This guide explains what the offer means, what it does not mean, and what to check before redeeming it.

The key decision is not “is free good?” The real question is whether you want to activate a renewing subscription.

What the included month is

Rockstar Support describes the offer as one month of GTA+ Membership included with eligible digital versions of Grand Theft Auto VI purchased before November 20, 2026.

It is a subscription benefit connected to the preorder or early purchase. It is not the game itself. You still buy GTA 6 separately.

Redemption deadlines

Rockstar Support gives different redemption rules by platform:

Microsoft/Xbox	Offer must be redeemed within 180 days after purchase

Always confirm the deadline on your own account and store page. Store wording can be easier to understand once you are signed in.

Auto-renewal warning

The included month can become a paid monthly subscription if you do not cancel. Rockstar Support says membership renews monthly at the regular monthly price until canceled.

Before redeeming:

• check the monthly price in your country;
• check which account will be billed;
• understand how to cancel on your platform;
• set a reminder if you want only the included month;
• do not redeem just because it is available.

This is not a scam when shown by the official platform store, but it is still a paid-subscription decision.

Existing GTA+ members

Rockstar Support says existing GTA+ members can redeem the included month and have it added to the existing subscription, extending the next billing date by one month.

That can be useful if you already pay for GTA+. If you are not an active GTA+ user, think carefully before starting a subscription you may forget to cancel.

GTA+ does not mean GTA 6 Online is confirmed

Do not use the GTA+ benefit as proof of a GTA 6 Online mode, release date or subscription requirement. GTA+ is an existing Rockstar subscription. A preorder benefit does not announce a separate GTA 6 multiplayer product.
