The box detail matters: the launch Standard package contains a code, not a game disc. Rockstar described boxed-code availability from November 12 to support preloading, but retailer delivery or pickup timing can still vary.
The preorder opening time and preload start are different facts. Rockstar’s June 24 Newswire item specifies midnight local time for the June 25 order opening. It gives November 12 as the preload date but does not state one universal preload hour. A reader should not transfer the “midnight” wording from the order opening to the download event.

It did not announce a PC or Steam preorder, a public demo, paid early gameplay access, a disc edition at launch or one worldwide unlock hour. A third-party offer for any of those things should not be treated as official because it appears beside accurate release information.
